The Most Used Apps On My iPhone

Hey y'all! How has everyone's week been? I can officially say that I am done with my exams for this semester and it is such a relief off my shoulders. I can't wait for the summer and to not have to worry about classes for a few months. I am also super excited because the countdown for all of my trips is getting smaller and smaller and that is music to my ears! No literally Carolina Country Music Festival is my first trip of the summer (pun intended)!

Like a lot of people, my phone is never really far away. I hate to admit that because I don't want to be that person who is always on her phone but you've got to work sometimes. As a blogger, vlogger, and content creator, I spend a lot of time on my phone whether I am planning my Instagram feed, creating videos, checking emails, or editing photos on the go. I am always super thankful that my phone can help me do most everything that I need to do thanks to a handful of apps! I am always super interested in the apps people use frequently that makes life more efficient for them and help get work done a lot faster. So today I want to share with y'all the apps I use the most in a bunch of different categories. Leave a comment down below as what y'all's favorite or most used apps are!

FOR SOCIAL MEDIA

~VSCO | VSCO is the app I use to edit almost 100% of my photos. You can add a filter, adjust the tones, and make any other changes that you want right there in the app. I love the amount of filters that they have and how you can really make each one the way you want it. Although I will give a warning that if you want to go to extremes on some photos you might have to pay some extra money.

~Adobe Lightroom CC | This app is great for ultimately creating your own preset, which in essence is your own filter. Lightroom is super easy to use and if you pick settings that you like the most, you can save it as your own filter so next time you can just automatically click that filter and have your picture just the way you want it.

~Canva | Canva is my best friend and where I create all of my thumbnails for my YouTube videos, graphics for presentations, assignments, social media posts, and so much more. They are all around a powerhouse of creativity and I can spend hours in Canva just creating different versions of things until I find exactly what I want.

~1SE | If you follow me on Instagram, you have probably seen my monthly 1 Second Everyday videos and this is the app I use to create it. 1SE is great because you can take a video in the app or you can add a snippet from that day if you forget. They will even mash the video together for you and you can add music to your video right there.

FOR PRODUCTIVITY & MORE

~Reminders | Reminders is the greatest thing ever for me as a person that forgets everything if I don't write it down somewhere at the exact moment I think of it. It is perfect because I can set a timer for when I want it to go off on the day and time as well as the priority of it and how badly I need it to get done (let's be honest everything I put in there is high priority)

~PayPal | PayPal is amazing and where I do a lot of money transactions now and days. I feel like I use this more than I do my actual banking app because I am constantly in there receiving, sending, or moving money. PayPal is the ultimate app because it is super fast and you can have money in your account within minutes.

~Notes/Evernote | I have used Notes and Evernote for quite some time really just because they are both so easy to use! Now I use the Notes app the most that comes already with Apple but Notes and Evernote both sync with my MacBook and iPhone which is AMAZING! I personally use both of these for to-do lists for blog and vlog, school, just in general, as well as vacation details, camera gear I want, and book lists. You can lists and "notebooks" so everything is organized whether you are using it for business or personal.

FOR READING

~Kindle App | I have ben using the Kindle App the longest out of all of my apps because I have always had an e-reader or something like that to read books on. I love having the app on my phone just in case I find myself in a situation where I can take a minute and catch up on some reading. The Kindle App syncs to all of my devices so if I get farther on my tablet, it will update where I am on my phone.

~Goodreads | Goodreads is like having your own personal library keeper on your phone! I love being able to see all the different kinds of books that I have read while also looking at new books to read based on the books that are in my library. You can keep track of all the books you have by separating them into different "bookshelves" whether you want to do it by genre or something else.

~Audible | Audible is super handy for me because it is also connected to my Kindle App where I can get the audio version a book and listen to it while I am working, in the car, on an airplane, working out, or wherever else. I love it because for the most part, all of the books on there are recorded by the original author. They are super affordable and it is so easy to work with.

FOR FITNESS & HEALTH

~CarbManager | This is my ultimate friend every single day because this is how I keep track of what I eat everyday with my keto lifestyle. My absolute favorite thing about this app is that while I am in the grocery store, I can scan the barcode and see all the nutritional information and its keto grading so I can see whether or not I can eat it!

~Seven | Seven keeps me on my toes everyday and if I haven't worked out that day, it will ask me at some point during the day if I have 7 minutes to do a quick little workout. All of the workouts are things that can be done right in your living room or office or wherever with no equipment. So when I am on the go I love to use this if I don't have the opportunity to get a full workout in right at that time.

FOR VIDEO

~YouTube | Okay seriously... MY BEST FRIEND! I am on YouTube constantly because thats where I do a lot of work. So with the YouTube app I can monitor my videos and how they are performing while also keeping up with the other YouTubers I subscribe to and get ideas. YouTube is awesome because if I need a quick tutorial on something, I can just hop on there and search for it and be able to visually see it.

~Amazon Prime Video | Where do I buy and watch all of my favorite movies? You would be correct it is Amazon Prime Video! My favorite part about this app is that I can download movies and TV shows that I might want to watch, so if I am not connected to WiFi, I can still watch them while I am in the car on a road trip, on an airplane, while working out, whatever the case might be.

~iMovie | iMovie is where I create all of my YouTube videos, social media videos, etc. It is a super easy system to use even as an app and really allows me to edit projects while I am on the go and don't have my full laptop. I can add videos straight from my phone which is super helpful because that is basically the other camera I use when I can't bring my actually camera with me!

What are some of y'all's go to and most used apps?

As always thank y'all for stopping by and reading! I will see y'all back here next time!

Love, D
