Carnival Sunshine Ship Tour
Hey y'all! How is everyone's week going so far? Are y'all ready for Thanksgiving? I am getting ready to head out of town to see family for Thanksgiving but couldn't forget y'all and wanted to share the first vlog of my amazing recent trip on my very first cruise. I was nervous about this trip because I had never been on a cruise ship before and didn't know what to expect but quickly caught the hang of it. But to kick off the vlogs, I am taking y'all around the massive Carnival Sunshine cruise ship to show you all that it has to offer as well as show y'all the room we were staying in.
So.... WELCOME ABOARD THE CARNIVAL SUNSHINE!
This massive ship is 14 floors and has 12 floors of staterooms, a spa, a salon, a fitness center, 2 different lounges, an art gallery, an arcade, casino, candy shop, sports bar, mini golf, a kids club, 2 dance clubs, a SportSquare with a basketball court and ropes course, a SkyTrack, a waterpark for adults and kids, a Serenity deck (for ages 21 and over), and then of course 20 other different restaurants and bars that you can get something to eat and drink. There is a ton more on the ship but this is just the start. Did I mention they have 24 hour pizza and ice cream on-board? Oh because they do! The food was absolutely incredible and there was so much to choose from that you could get something different every day. We of course had our favorites, but it was great to see and try all the food.
The ship is laid out so nicely that it is easy to get to wherever you are going on the ship. With the group that I was with, I was the one who caught on real quickly as to how to get around but by the end of the trip but directionally challenged mama was able to get around without a problem. What was handy was that as soon as we got on board they handed us a small foldable map of the ship that I swear I carried around with me all the time in case we needed to find a particular place.
Of course when Carolina Country Music Fest isn't taking over the Carnival Sunshine, it is laid out a little differently because we were covering some of the pools with our stages. So if you just wanted to take a trip on the Carnival Sunshine without CCMF, you can definitely go and check out everything that is offered. I had such an amazing time on the Carnival Sunshine and already can't wait until I get to go on my next cruise.
