My Favorite Things To Watch On Netflix

I don't know about y'all but we do a lot of Netflix watching in our house. We are constantly binge watching and starting new shows and we love to get recommendations on new things to watch, whether it is TV shows or movies. SO.... I thought today I would share some of my favorites on Netflix right now and things I am loving to watch! These are are binge-able and easy to watch so get cozy on the couch & enjoy!

FAVORITE SHOWS ON NETFLIX

~Sweet Magnolias (Netflix Original Series)-- When I say that I watched this in a day, I seriously watched it in a day! Set in South Carolina (filmed in Georgia) it’s 3 best friends navigating their personal lives/relationships/kids and starting a new business together.

~Outer Banks (Netflix Original Series)-- If you haven't already watch Outer Banks, well you need to because you are a little behind. About my favorite place in the world and another show set in the South! Set in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, it’s actually filmed in South Carolina. It’s pretty suspenseful at times! I’m excited for season 2.

~Gilmore Girls-- Hilarious and heartfelt, I love this show about a mom & daughter! You can even watch the Gilmore Girls Seasons event that came out onto Netflix that is AMAZING!

~Down To Earth with Zac Efron (Netflix Original Series)-- Actor Zac Efron is journeying around the world with wellness expert Darin Olien in a travel show that explores healthy, sustainable ways to live. 1. I LOVE Zac Efron, and 2. This show will make you rethink how you live life and let you see how people all over the world live life.

~Lucifer-- If you are looking for a mix of the devil, crime show, drama, and a dash of comedy, well this is the absolute show for you! This show is simply amazing and will leave you trying to reveal secrets about Lucifer while trying to solve crimes at the same time.

~The Chef Show (Netflix Original Series)-- If you have ever seen my favorite movie, Chef with Jon Favreau, well this is like the TV show version of that. Jon and Roy Choi visit different renowned restaurants and go into the kitchen and try foods that are out of this world and even go into their personal kitchens to whip something up. They may even have some special guests featured like some of the Avengers cast and more!

~Medici (Netflix Original Series)-- In 15th-century Renaissance Florence, the visionary Medici dynasty flexes its power in politics and the arts, risking its rivals' lethal opposition. This show has a start studded cast and if you like story lines set in ancient or Renaissance times, this is the TV show for you.

~Breaking Bad-- Arguably one of the best shows that’s ever been on cable TV about the depths a man will go to in order to provide for his family. So good til the very end.

~Dead to Me (Netflix Original Series)-- A hothead widow searching for the hit-and-run driver who mowed down her husband befriends an eccentric optimist who isn't quite what she seems. I mean come on, Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini, who else could you need in show!

~Grace & Frankie (Netflix Original Series)-- They're not friends, but when their husbands leave them for each other, proper Grace and eccentric Frankie begin to bond. First of all, this show is Emmy-Nominated okay and second, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin are the best duo and the only duo that could play in this magnificent TV show.

~Queer Eye-- Literally EVERY EPISODE of Queer Eye makes me cry!! These guys do so much good and lift up so many people that are struggling. It’s a feel good show

~Friday Night Lights-- If you love sports dramas, watch this. Coach Taylor is one of my most beloved characters.

FAVORITE MOVIES ON NETFLIX

~6 Underground (Netflix Original Movie)-- After faking his death, a tech billionaire recruits a team of international operatives for a bold and bloody mission to take down a brutal dictator. Ryan Reynolds comedy is still so present in the movie and makes it hard to not laugh.

~Feel the Beat (Netflix Original Movie)-- After blowing a Broadway audition, a self-centered dancer reluctantly returns home and agrees to coach a squad of young misfits for a big competition. I just love a good dance movie that makes you want to get up and dance yourself.

~American Assassin-- Has my celebrity crush Dylan O'Brien in it but truly an action packed movie. After grad student Mitch Rapp suffers a tragic loss during a terrorist attack, his single-minded thirst for vengeance catches the interest of the CIA.

~The Kissing Booth (1&2) (Netflix Original Movie)-- So if you have not seen any of the Kissing Booth movies, let me catch you up. So The Kissing Booth-- when teenager Elle's first kiss leads to a forbidden romance with the hottest boy AND her best friends brother in high school, she risks her relationship with her best friend. And it all started with a kissing booth at the school's carnival. Now the newest edition, The Kissing Booth 2-- with college decisions looming, Elle juggles her long-distance romance with Noah, changing relationship with bestie Lee and feelings for a new classmate. Lots and lots of things going on and lots of emotions and decisions.

~Dumplin' (Netflix Original Movie)-- I resonated so much with this movie and Danielle Macdonald and Jennifer Aniston played an amazing mother-daughter duo. To prove a point about measuring up and fitting in, Texas teen Willowdean Dickson enters a local pageant run by her ex-beauty queen mom.

~Oceans 11, Oceans 12, & Oceans 13-- IF YOU HAVE NOT WATCHED ANY OF THE OCEANS MOVIES, GO DO IT NOW! Like seriously my favorite movies of all time because the cast is amazing, the way they think has you wondering why your brain doesn't work like that, and they are just great movies to watch. Matt Damon, George Clooney, and Brad Pitt... I'll leave it at that!

~Holiday in the Wild (Netflix Original Movie)-- This is definitely a feel-good movie. When her husband abruptly ends their marriage, empty nester Kate embarks on a solo second honeymoon in Africa, finding purpose-- and potential romance. After watching this I was once second away from buying an airplane ticket to Africa and going to help the elephants myself!

~Work It (Netflix Original Movie)-- The newest drop of Netflix movie with Liza Koshy, Jordan Fisher, and Sabrina Carpenter. A brilliant but clumsy high school senior vows to get into her late father's alma mater by transforming herself and a misfit squad into dance champions. Once again, another movie that will make you want to get up and dance.

~A Bad Mom's Christmas-- I mean come on, how could you not. It doesn't even have to be Christmas time to watch this and completely love it. Stressed- out moms Amy, Carla, and Kiki are back, and the looming Christmas holiday gets even more daunting when their mothers show up for a visit. Lot of laughs, emotions, more laughs, and lots of Christmas spirit.
