Southern Style 3 Year Anniversary

Wow, 3 years! I truly can't believe it. I have been blogging here on Southern Style for 3 years and the time has flown by. It feels like just yesterday that I started blogging and following other bloggers as well. If you had told me in the beginning that in 3 years I was still going to be doing it and running a YouTube channel as well, I probably would have looked at you and said challenge accepted, haha. I look back now at my beginning blog posts and am shocked that I ever let myself post those things. But I think everybody has that moment when they look back and go, "oh my god, what the hell was I doing!" It is really fun to see the growth though and how much I have changed and how my priorities have shifted.

Over 3 years, I have put together almost 600 blog posts, started a YouTube Channel, been able to meet other bloggers, travel a lot, work with and learn from some incredible people and companies, and actually figure out what I want to do with my life. How cool is that? I truly stumbled into this world and constantly still stumble around, but I love getting to learn every single day and talk to new people. I love when y'all come and ask me questions and getting to talk to each one of you because that is my whole point here, to get to know y'all and let y'all get to know me. I do not have a normal life AT ALL and I love sharing every little detail of it with y'all!

One of the biggest concepts that I have always had for Southern Style is for y'all to get to know the people in my life because the people in my life are out of this world amazing. I have a very small group of great friends that I would do anything for and they would do the same for me. I love getting to show them off and share my family dynamic with y'all as well because I do not come from a normal family, we are all CRAZY! For instance... I have 10 different uncles because my dad's best and closest friends have been there through every second of my life and are truly like uncles to me. I have an older brother who isn't really my brother but has been there through the hardest part of my life and gotten me through it all. There are 17 of us on my mom's side of the family and we like to all stay in one house for a week during the summertime at the beach... like I said CRAZY!

But those moments and these people, I love y'all getting to know them because I would not be able to do anything with any of them. Southern Style has taught me so much and I have become so much more confident over the last 3 years because I have found myself. I have found motivation, inspiration, a whole new level of creativity that I never thought I could get to, and most of all, peace. I love running Southern Style and my YouTube Channel, and without either one of those and getting to share this with y'all I don't know what I would do.

So after all of this you may be asking, what's next? I truly don't know because the future is so unpredictable but here is what I want to do. I want to keep growing Southern Style and sharing more with y'all and work with more brands and companies. I want to keep growing my YouTube Channel because that is one of the best things that I have ever done. I REALLY want to redo Southern Style's website and change it up a bit, but that is a later discussion. I want to travel more, yes more than I already do! Most of all I want to keep getting to know y'all and hear what y'all have to say.

(and yes that is my 3 balloon that flew away before I could even take any pictures with it!)

I have to say a huge thank you to y'all because y'all are the ones that keep me going and like I said, I love hearing from y'all and what you have to say because it makes me to do better and engage more. I hope y'all like reading and watching and coming to Southern Style to see it all because I truly love doing it!

I will see y'all back here next time for some more fun!

Love, Dani
