Free People Keep It Simple Button Blouse

Hey y'all! How is everyone doing so far this week? I am on my way home from spending a long weekend in Atlanta, GA, and it was very much needed. I had such a great time seeing my family and getting to spend some time with them and have some fun! But it is time to get home and get ready to start back at school which is inching closer and closer to starting... AHHHHH! That is so crazy for me to think about that I am only 10 credit hours away from graduating and that is only 5 months away from that time. Time flies in a blink of an eye.

My love for Free People just keeps growing and growing with all of the amazing pieces they keep putting out. I fell in love with the Free People Keep It Simple Button Blouse because I am a sucker for denim and chambray shirts. This Keep It Simple Button Blouse really caught my eye because of the detailing that is all over the shirt. You may recognize this shirt from my Summer Lookbook Vlog and if you haven't seen that you can check that out here.

This top is the perfect transition piece because it is light and perfect for summer but can be paired perfectly for a fall or winter outfit. I love how the collar is frayed and the pocket on the chest. The fraying makes it, in my eyes, a little bit more feminine and cooler to wear. I clearly paired it with my American Eagle black cut-off shorts, but it is easy to dress it up with black jeans or, if you are a little daring, with a darker pair of denim jeans or cut-offs.

I loved rolling the sleeves up because I feel like having them all the way down is too formal and not as casual. I, of course, love to pair my classic gold jewelry with it and love to layer my gold dainty jewelry and you can check out my blog post here as to what brands I usually shop for my dainty jewelry. My favorite Steve Madden Bandi Platform Wedge Sandal is the perfect shoe to wear with this because it ties in a few other colors as well as the black of the shoe with the black of the cut-offs. Seriously feel like I am walking on clouds when I wear these and you can read my blog post here as to why they are the PERFECT summer sandal.

I am thinking about doing a post all about how to pair denim on denim, what do y'all think about that?

As always thank y'all for stopping by and reading! I will see y'all back here next time!

Love, D
