From Day To Night

Hey y'all! How was everyone's week? I am officially on Fall Break which I am thrilled about because I really needed just a little break from school and everything to just relax and enjoy my time. My dad, Hailey, and I are heading up to Lake Lure, which is up in the mountains of North Carolina, for the weekend to visit my family that lives up there. We love to go up to this part of North Carolina because it is so pretty and Hailey and I love to take the golf cart and drive around and explore and check out all the beauty. While we are up there Hailey is going to help me out on a few projects that I am working on so stay tuned for all of that to come.

I am really excited about today's post because going from day to night is such a big thing for me because I am always so busy and love to be able to just add a few simple things without changing into a whole new outfit. I love this black dress from Roxy and truth be told it is actually a cover up but since it is so hot down here I love wearing it as a dress. The dress is so light and flowy and perfect for going all day and it is perfect to wear in the fall time down here in the South because it still stays so warm.

Now go to night I tend to add just a jacket or different shoes, but I don't usually change jewelry because I just wear it all the way through the day. I love my new Levi denim jacket because it is the perfect thing to wear in the fall and winter time. For this particular outfit, this denim jacket is perfect to take this dress from day to night and provides that extra flare. During the fall we experience some chillier nights so this Levi jacket is the perfect extra layer. These Sam Edelman wedges are also the perfect thing to wear at night but for me I tend to wear the same pair of shoes all day long and this is also perfect because they are SUPER comfortable.

Now the jewelry that I wear during the day tends to stay on at night because I pick jewelry pieces that are really interchangeable and carry me through the whole day. My Kendra Scott ring has just the right amount of bling that I like to just wear other simple, stackable rings like my James Michelle rings. I also love to wear a simple necklace like my Coordinate Collection necklace that is simple and can be worn all day.
