Casual Work Attire
Hey y'all! Can y'all believe next week is Thanksgiving?!? This year is flying by and I am getting so excited for the end of the year because this is when we start doing all of our fun stuff. I am really excited for the next week though because I am finally getting into my apartment and I am so ready (sorry mom if you are reading this!). But more to come on that!
I really don't have work experience yet with having to wear professional clothing in the workplace. Remember, I work at the YMCA where my dress code most days is a blue YMCA shirt with workout pants and a one piece bathing suit. But I love the look of it and how sophisticated and classy it can look. I also like to have work or business attire in my closet in case of career fairs or any other professional events that require me to dress that way.
What most people don't get though, is it is not hard to change up your work attire and make it look unique while still looking professional. That's why I love these pants! At the bottom, around the ankles, there are zippers that add small amount of detail to the look. Even though it is a small detail, in my eyes these details can really change the whole outfit. I also love these pants because they are super comfy and stretchy and allow for easy movements which you don't see in normal work pants.
I love adding a fun top into my work attire that has some sort of pattern like this one or even different prints. Having a fun top in your work attire can really change things up and really make you stick out. I truly believe that you don't have to wear boring and basic tops to work when you can look just as professional in your own fun and unique style.
I love the detail of the zipper at the bottom of the pants! I think it adds an extra flare to the outfit.
As always thank you all for stopping by and reading!
Love, D
