Hailey's Graduation
I am so incredibly proud of my sister because she finally made it through her 4 years of high school and is now on to bigger and better things. That day was so exciting for so many reasons. #1 being that my cousins from Michigan were there that we hadn't seen in 2 years so it made the occasion pretty awesome. #2 is the fact that a lot of my important family was there to celebrate Hailey and her being done so it was nice to see all of them. And #3 being that it was so, so exciting and made me so happy to see Hailey finally walk across that stage (and not fall!) and get her diploma! I know that she is going to do some amazing things and will prove everybody wrong. I also know that she is going to change the world in a big way so everybody watch out for that.
The crazy thing about being back in the Raleigh Convention Center for me was that it felt like Deja Vu because I had graduated in the same spot 2 years ago and felt so strange to not be the one walking across that stage again. The other cool thing for me was that there were people I know that had siblings in Hailey's graduating class so it was cool to see a bunch of them and see their siblings graduate as well.
(This is one of my best friends so of course I had to get a picture with him as well!)
To my sister: "My wish for you, Is that this life becomes all that you want it to, Your dreams stay big, your worries stay small, You never need to carry more than you can hold, And while you’re out there gettin’ where you’re gettin’ to, I hope you know somebody loves you, And wants the same things too."
Congrats to all the graduates out there! I know this is an exciting time so really cherish it all because I know I did!
Love, D
