Hey y'all! We are finally at the end of our week but scary enough we are also at the end of March! How crazy is that! Does it feel like time is flying by really quickly for anybody else or just me? It feels like just the other day I was down in Mexico bringing in the New Year and now I am a whole year older and almost done with this semester of school. Oh how the craziness never stops! Since it is the end of the month, I am here to give y'all my March Reading List filled with the amazing and, of course, all different kinds of books. I realized when I was putting together this months list, that I had read books written by all amazing women who are doing incredible work and killing it out there in the world! If y'all have any suggestions for books that I should try out, please let me know because I am always on the hunt for a new good book. I hope y'all enjoy this month's reading list!

The pictures and recipes were my absolute favorite part because it just added another element of who Jessie is!

~AFTER WE FELL BY: ANNA TODD | Just as Tessa makes the biggest decision of her life, everything changes. Revelations about first her family, and then Hardin’s, throw everything they knew before in doubt and makes their hard-won future together more difficult to claim.Tessa’s life begins to come unglued. Nothing is what she thought it was. Not her friends. Not her family. The one person she should be able to rely on, Hardin, is furious when he discovers the massive secret she’s been keeping. And rather than being understanding, he turns to sabotage.Tessa knows Hardin loves her and will do anything to protect her, but there’s a difference between loving someone and being able to have them in your life. This cycle of jealousy, unpredictable anger, and forgiveness is exhausting. She’s never felt so intensely for anyone, so exhilarated by someone’s kiss—but is the irrepressible heat between her and Hardin worth all the drama? Love used to be enough to hold them together. But if Tessa follows her heart now, will it be...the end? Alright Book 3 of the After series and this book will leave you in a tailspin wondering what in the world could possibly happen next. So many big life events happen for both Hardin and Tessa but the biggest thing is that they always stand by each other because of their love. There are so many questions that will pop into your head while reading book 3 thought. Are they going to end up together? Are they going to be able to stay away from each other? So many questions that will leave you not wanting to put the book down, LIKE AT ALL!

~AFTER EVER HAPPY BY: ANNA TODD | It’s never been all rainbows and sunshine for Tessa and Hardin, but each new challenge they’ve faced has only made their passionate bond stronger and stronger. But when a revelation about the past shakes Hardin’s inpenetrable façade to the core—and then Tessa suffers a tragedy—will they stick together again, or be torn apart? As the shocking truth about each of their families emerges, it’s clear the two lovers are not so different from each other. Tessa is no longer the sweet, simple, good girl she was when she met Hardin—any more than he is the cruel, moody boy she fell so hard for. Tessa understands all the troubling emotions brewing beneath Hardin’s exterior, and she knows she’s the only one who can calm him when he erupts. He needs her.But the more layers of his past come to light, the darker he grows, and the harder he pushes Tessa—and everyone else in his life—away. Tessa’s not sure if she really can save him—not without sacrificing herself. She refuses to go down without a fight. But who is she fighting for—Hardin or herself? Book 4 and sadly the last book of the After series! I am absolutely obsessed with this series and cannot absolutely wait till I get to see it on the big screen soon! This book will tug on your heart strings and leave you wondering if they are going to end up together or not. This book you will definitely see different sides of Hardin and Tessa and will for sure see the change in both of them from when they first met till the current time. I'm not going to spoil the ending but trust me when I say that the ending will definitely satisfy you and leave you happy.

~SCRAPPY LITTLE NOBODY BY: ANNA KENDRICK | With her razor-sharp wit, Anna recounts the absurdities she’s experienced on her way to and from the heart of pop culture as only she can—from her unusual path to the performing arts (Vanilla Ice and baggy neon pants may have played a role) to her double life as a middle-school student who also starred on Broadway to her initial “dating experiments” (including only liking boys who didn’t like her back) to reviewing a binder full of butt doubles to her struggle to live like an adult woman instead of a perpetual “man-child.”Enter Anna’s world and follow her rise from “scrappy little nobody” to somebody who dazzles on the stage, the screen, and now the page—with an electric, singular voice, at once familiar and surprising, sharp and sweet, funny and serious (well, not that serious). When I saw this book I immediately knew I had to read it because I am such a huge fan of Anna Kendrick and how insanely funny she is. She has this amazing personality and storytelling ability that just makes you want to keep listening to her and watching her on the big screen. Anna did such an amazing job of telling her story while not taking any of her humor and sarcasm out of it at all. Reading about her life and what she was like as a kid, is actually how you would really imagine her based on how she is today!

~YOU ARE A BADASS AT MAKING MONEY BY: JEN SINCERO | You Are a Badass at Making Money will launch you past the fears and stumbling blocks that have kept financial success beyond your reach. Drawing on her own transformation—over just a few years—from a woman living in a converted garage with tumbleweeds blowing through her bank account to a woman who travels the world in style, Jen Sincero channels the inimitable sass and practicality that made You Are a Badass an indomitable bestseller. She combines hilarious personal essays with bite-size, aha concepts that unlock earning potential and get real results. I am such a huge fan of Jen Sincero and everything that she writes! Reading this, I was uber, super motivated to go out and tackle everything out there in the world. After reading this I truly feel like I can be this successful person and do it while chasing my dreams and doing what I love for work! If you are in any kind of slump I would seriously suggest reading any of Jen Sincero's books so you can kick your own butt and get going!

~WHERE'D YOU GO, BERNADETTE BY: MARIA SEMPLE | Bernadette Fox has vanished. When her daughter Bee claims a family trip to Antarctica as a reward for perfect grades, Bernadette, a fiercely intelligent shut-in, throws herself into preparations for the trip. But worn down by years of trying to live the Seattle life she never wanted, Ms. Fox is on the brink of a meltdown. And after a school fundraiser goes disastrously awry at her hands, she disappears, leaving her family to pick up the pieces.Which is exactly what Bee does, weaving together an elaborate web of emails, invoices, and school memos that reveals a secret past Bernadette has been hiding for decades. Where'd You Go Bernadette is an ingenious and unabashedly entertaining novel about a family coming to terms with who they are, and the power of a daughter's love for her mother. So I originally read this book for a class before it was even announced it was going to be turned into a movie. It is a super intriguing book and has you really holding on and wondering where Bernadette actually went. The characters in the book are so detailed and have so much story to them, that you can basically see them standing right in front of you. Such a good book and I am very interested to see how they turn this strange and intriguing book into a hit movie.

I hope y'all enjoyed March's Reading List and may even have found something new to read! If y'all have any suggestions for books that I should try out, please let me know because I am always on the hunt for a new good book.

As always thank y'all for stopping by and reading! I will see y'all back here next time!

Love, D
